Just cleaned up and fixed my profile page. I have a lovely new profile banner of Akabane Kuroudo/Dr. Jackal from Get Backers, made by my good friend kaze_tsuki.

I'd originally planned for this to be an icon. However, it didn't look as impressive when shrunk to 100x100. So, just as an outtake, here it is:

The inspiration just isn't stopping!

I was watching Pride and Prejudice (2005 film) some time ago, re-immersing myself in the world of Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy. They're one of my favorite pairings in the world of literature for so many reasons. Well, in tribute to them, I whipped up another batch of icons just to make me happy.

Again, credit goes to silverqe for the lovely light textures I used on a number of the icons. Some textures were from the lovely 77words, who has several batches of glorious icon textures.

Again, I have a number of other icons stashed away, but I'm saving those for more rainy days. :) (Maybe tomorrow? ;) )

I've recently been riding a spate of inspiration--not of the writing kind, but of the photomanipulation kind. This is for my new fandom, Stardust. I've always loved the book; Neil Gaiman has always been one of my favorite authors, and Stardust is one of my favorite works of his. In truth, I wasn't all that excited to see the film because I was afraid that it would ruin my perception of the book. However, I was in for a treat. The movie was loffly. Needless to say, I fell in love with it. :)

To feed this newfound obsession, I've discovered yet another community that caters to this: stardusticon. Such lovely stuff there. So, due to all the loffly icons I saw, and because I'm inundated by inspiration, I was motivated to make my own batch of icons. I have more than twenty right now, and I shall only be uploading a few for my own use. Most of them are Tristan/Yvaine. However, I hope to make some Dunstan/Una icons, as well as some Stormhold-y icons (particularly of Septimus, Una, Secundus, and maybe Primus). And of course, I musn't forget some Captain Shakespeare icons and some Lilim icons. :)
